recent update:
New Balance Sales!
written on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 @ 11:43 AM ✈

Last Sunday, Lesmin and I went to the New Balance Sales!
I have never owned a NB shoes in my whole life (because I am not a fan of it) thus, it was my first pair NB shoes!
Buying a pair of NB from taobao did come by my mind but, the cheapest NB from taobao that looks really authentic cost about $15 without shipping fee to Singapore yet. Thus, I feel that it's not worthy of my money to pay for about $20 for a pair counterfeit NB shoe. I mean, by just topping up about $30 more for an authentic pair which will be more comfortable and lasting. Moreover, I will be wearing that pair of NB shoe quite often for fashion, dance and just normal going to school. Hence, I gave it a miss.

We were discussing about a major project together on a early Sunday morning and she asked me out for NB sale in the midst of discussing it. I promised her I would go if I finished my school project and yay, I managed to finish my burden project within an hour.

We walked to their original entrance of NB sales and it was closed.
We got pretty a shock of our life but decided that if it's God's plan, we will manage to get our NB shoes so, we snap pretty lots of photos before we head to their original exit to take a look.
We bought Koi from Somerset@313 before heading to Scape because we are craving for it. (Fill our hungry stomachs before exercising)

So, I only bought 1 pair of grey NB. It caught my eyes when I saw this girl trying it. So, Les and I went to ask for our size and yay, it's still available.

The venue was actually not really crowded. But in general, the customers were gathered around the shoes area and it was quite tough to get to see the shoes design available. We had to squeeze our way through, in between the people to even catch a glimpse of the designs.
Since I already had a design in mind, it was quite easy for me. Especially when I found the design I wanted so quickly.

Les bought 2 pairs, a pair same a mine, and another which was quite like Nike Air Max but in dark grey. I think it was really pretty and she feels that it's "God's given" shoe.
That dark grey caught our eyes and we asked for our size but it was only available in size 5. (I'm 5.5) and I do not want to compromise for half a size smaller. Lesmin is a 6 thus, we just left the platform.
She was explaining to me that we can just pick up those shoes that people discarded on the floor and check those out.
The first box that she picked was the dark grey shoes that caught our eyes and she tried it. It fits her nicely (even better than the lighter grey ones) and she checked the size - it was size 6 and she was over the moon and felt that it's God's given and decided to buy.
I was really tempted as it was a really nice pair of shoe. But, I am on a tight budget. So, decided to give it a miss and went to pay up immediately.

We spent less than 1 hour in NB, thus, I felt it was really productive.

Our loots of the day

It really speaks a lot of our friendship in these 8 pictures.
